The Kimball Road to Route 12 stretch of Minister Brook in Washington County is 3 miles long and has been rated as a class II-III section by American Whitewater. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but if you don’t have reservations you     might end up sleeping in your car. The Kimball Road to Route 12 stretch is the only paddling stretch along Minister Brook. This is a short paddling stretch so better bring some good walking shoes. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking there are lots of good rivers for that around here. Getting a good workout and just hanging out with mother nature are great reasons to come. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. The beauty of the Green Mountains is a great plus for this river. The natural beauty of Washington County and the cool fresh water will make you feel great. Briefly about the general area: Minister Brook gets much water; most of the rain falls through August, and February on the other hand is the driest. Through the summertime months at Minister Brook highs are commonly in the   60's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.
