The starting location is a short drive from Lebanon, if you're not familiar with the area there's a road map further down the page. The wonderful Windsor County scenery and the playfulness of the water attract people from near and far. The Green Mountains scenery is wonderful. The Right above Route 4 to 1 Mile below Route 4 section is the only paddling section along Ottauquechee River. A bit of exercise and just hanging out with mother nature will make you glad you came. This section of Ottauquechee River in Vermont is 1 miles long and it is classified as a class III+(V) section by American Whitewater. This is a very short section so you'd better be prepared to walk your kayak back to put-in a few times.
