The put-in location is a reasonable drive from Keene, please print out a copy of the road map further down the page so you won’t get lost. This section is quite short so you'd better be prepared to walk your kayak back to put-in a few times. A good workout and a chance to spend some time outdoors are sure to keep you coming back for more. For all you camping people there are campgrounds     nearby. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way this is an area with plenty of places for that. The wonderful Windham County scenery and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream beats anything. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination.
