The scenic beauty of Orange County and the cool fresh water beats anything. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. Getting a good workout and spending some quality time in nature will make you glad you came. The Green Mountains scenery is wonderful. If you've been out of state whitewater rafting and kayaking you might find     the rivers here more forgiving, so keep in mind that a lot of the rivers here are suitable for beginners. The campgrounds here at White River are pretty good. This is one of a small number of paddling sections in this river system, there are a few others too. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this area has a large number of paddling rivers.
