Briefly about the general area: Very charming scenery and great skiing is what you get at Stratton, and close by French Hollow
is a brilliant spot to go. All the water falling down from the sky makes Winhall River a wet location; August is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is February. For the duration of the days of summer at Winhall River highs are mostly in the 80's. Throughout
the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Winhall River are in the 10's. And if that's not sufficient there's loads more exciting things to do in the Green Mountains. Take some time to stop at Winhall Town Forest while you're here.
