The natural beauty of Virginia and the playfulness of the water are in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in Virginia is often easier than elsewhere, so you'd better keep in mind that a lot of the rivers here are suitable for beginners. There are no other stretches to paddle along Briery Branch than the Briery Branch Dam to North     River stretch. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set.
