The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state are often easier than in other states, so don't forget that rivers here are less demanding. The Rt. 667 to Rapidan River and Route 29 Bridge stretch of Conway River is 13 miles long and it is classified as a class II-III section by American Whitewater. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby. This section has enough mileage for an overnight trip, so why     not pack your sleeping bag too. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. Getting a good workout and just hanging out with mother nature will make you glad you came. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking there are lots of good spots for that around here.
