The AT - Virginia Creeper Trail section of Green Cove Creek in Washington County is 1.5 miles long and is a class III-IV+(V) section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. There are no other stretches to paddle along Green Cove Creek than the AT - Virginia Creeper Trail stretch. A good workout and spending some quality time in nature have people coming from far and near. There's camping available near Green Cove Creek. The sections for whitewater rafting and     kayaking here in Virginia are often more forgiving than in other states, so keep in mind that many of the sections here are safe for beginners.
