This section of Johns Creek in Virginia is 21 miles long and is a class I-II section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. The wonderful Craig County scenery and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water beats anything. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking in this general area you'll find lots of paddling spots. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car.
