The starting location is a short drive from Blacksburg-Christiansburg-Radford, if you're not familiar with the area there's a road map further down the page. Briefly about the general area:
You'll meet a lot of people from Barren Springs here, and the Fire Trail is a glorious hiking trail nearby. Whohoo, so much fun stuff in one place! The Blue Ridge Mountains is so good! Alum Hollow is a great spot to look at, and a journey to Claytor Lake State Park when you're here is never a bad idea.
