The put-in is not too far from Staunton-Waynesboro, if you're not familiar with the area there's a road map further down the page. The average whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit easier to master in this state than those in other states, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that a large number of rivers in this state are quite easy. This stretch of Marl Creek - South R.Trib in Virginia is 1 miles long and is a class III-IV+ section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great
