The winter brings highs down   to the 40's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Pimmit Run sink into the 20's. Going for a hike on the Upland Trail is always a nice adventure; close by you come across brilliant locations like The Potomac Gorge. There are brilliant places to explore along the Swamp Trail; the panoramas at Glen Echo Park will blow your mind. From a rainfall point of view Pimmit Run is a reasonably typical site; May is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month of the year is February.
