The average Virginia whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit easier to master than those in other states, so if you're not from around here don't forget that a large number of rivers in this state are quite easy. The nature scenery of Virginia and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water attract people from near and far. This river system has a few good paddling sections and the Trail 7 to Dumfries section     is one of them. Getting a good workout and a chance to spend some time outdoors are sure to keep you coming back for more. Briefly about the general area: During the long summer days here at Quantico Creek, high temperatures mostly reach the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's. All through the winter highs are in the 40's while Quantico Creek night low temperatures during the winter are in the 20's. Take a hike   on the Quantico Falls Trail. Quantico Creek is a good spot of common rainfall; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and January is the month with the least moisture. Quantico Creek is right by the Calvin Branch Mine Trail, and dropping by Prince William Forest Park is just something you need to do if you haven't yet.
