better keep in mind that quite a few of the sections here are pretty easy. Getting some good exercise and just hanging out with mother nature are great reasons to come. This is one of a small number of paddling sections in this river system, there are a few others too. There are
campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking there are lots of good rivers for that around here. The river winds through the Blue Ridge Mountains and you get great scenery. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. This stretch is mid length, suitable for an afternoon trip. The natural beauty of Virginia and the playfulness of the water have people coming here.
