II-III section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. There are no other sections to paddle along Simpson Creek than the Truckstop to Route 60 section. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, there are lots of good places for that around
here. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car.
