Whitewater rafting and kayaking in Washington is often tougher than elsewhere, so you'd better keep in mind that rivers here are less forgiving. A good workout and a chance to spend some time outdoors have people coming from far and near. The river winds through the Olympic Mountains and you get great scenery. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way around here you'll find a large number of good spots. Baker Creek doesn't have a lot of paddling stretches, the Old Bridge to Middle Satsop stretch is the only one. This stretch is short so you'd better be prepared to walk your kayak back to put-in a few times. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground.
