Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in Washington tend to be more challenging than the national average, so keep in mind that many runs in this state are not easy. This section is long enough to enjoy a good non stop paddle, it's perfect for a one day trip. The Rapid River to South Fork Skykomish stretch of Beckler River in Washington is 7.3 miles long and is rated by American Whitewater as a class II-III section. There aren’t any hotels     right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. The Rapid River to South Fork Skykomish section is the only paddling section along Beckler River. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way this area has a large number of paddling spots. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. The beauty of the Northern Cascade Range is a great plus for this river. Getting some good exercise and just hanging out with mother nature will have you coming back for more. Briefly about the general area: The snow is tremendous at Stephens Pass. High temperatures at Beckler River during the summer months are in the 70's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. The wintertime   comes with highs in the 40's; after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Beckler River fall into the 30's. Beckler River ordinarily gets a lot of rainfall; most of the rain falls during December while July is generally the driest month.
