The scenic beauty of Grays Harbor County and the water flowing gracefully down Big Creek beats anything. The average whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit harder to master in this state than those in other states, so you'd better keep in mind that rivers here are not as easy as elsewhere. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, there are lots of good rivers for that     around here. This stretch is short so you'll have to walk back to the start over and over. The Olympic Mountains scenery is wonderful. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. Great exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors are great reasons to come. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination.
