The natural beauty of Washington and the water flowing gracefully down Big Creek attract people from near and far. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in this state tend to be more challenging than the national average, so if you're not from around here don't forget that many of the rivers here are not very forgiving. This section is quite short so you'll have to walk back to the start over and over. No matter if you're

You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem and if you make reservations in advance you're all set.

the summer months highs here at Big Creek get into the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 40's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 40's; night lows all through the winter for Big Creek tend to be in the 30's. All the water falling down
from the sky makes Big Creek a wet location; the wettest month of the year is typically December, that's the one that rains the most, and July on the other hand is the driest.
