The wonderful Jefferson/Clallam County scenery and the playfulness of the water beats anything. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking around here you'll find a large number of good rivers. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. On this section you do get some distance, you can easily run it on an afternoon. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance     then no problem but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. The beauty of the Olympic Mountains is a great plus for this river. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in Washington are harder than the national norm, so better not forget that rivers here are not as easy as elsewhere. A good workout and just being out on the river for a while have a lot of people coming here. This is the only paddling stretch along Bogachiel River. Briefly about the general area: Throughout the summertime months at Bogachiel River highs are ordinarily in the 60's while nighttime lows are mostly in the 40's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 40's while Bogachiel River overnight low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 30's.
