Whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state is often more difficult than elsewhere, so if you're not from around here don't forget that a large number of rivers in this state are not easy. The Boulder Falls to mouth stretch of Boulder River in Washington is 5 miles long and is according to American Whitewater a class III section of whitewater. This stretch has has enough mileage, suitable for an afternoon trip.
The beautiful scenery of Washington and the water flowing gracefully down Boulder River beats anything. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem and if you
make reservations in advance you're all set. Whitewater paddling here in the Northern Cascade Range is a great experience. Getting your paddling muscles activated and spending some quality time in nature are great reasons to come. This is the only paddling stretch along Boulder River. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this is an area with plenty of places for that.
Briefly about the general area: A tour to Boulder Falls will fill your spirit with splendid feelings; French Point is close by and always magnificent to pop by.
That right there is loads of entertaining stuff already but it goes on, the Northern Cascade Range has it all. Good hiking is available along the Finney Peak Trail. Boulder River is a pretty wet place frequently with a good deal of rain; December is when you get the most rain
here; the driest month is July. All through the summer months here at Boulder River, high temperatures ordinarily reach the 70's with night lows in the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 40's, and night lows in the 30's for Boulder River.
