Canyon River - Satsop Tributary doesn't have a lot of paddling stretches, the FR 2260 to Cougar Smith Road stretch is the only one. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. The average Washington whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be harder to run than those in other states, so     you'd better keep in mind that a lot of the rivers here are not suitable for beginners. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. This stretch has enough mileage for an overnight trip, so pack your camping stuff. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way there are lots of good places for that around here.
