The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but you'd better reserve in advance because these     hotels fill up quick. The nature scenery of Washington and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream attract people from near and far. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, around here you'll find a large number of good spots. This is a pretty decent length section, it's good length for a morning trip. There are no other stretches to paddle along Cedar Creek than the Sherman Creek to Cedar Creek Road stretch. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. Great exercise and just hanging out with mother nature are great attractions for lots of people. Whitewater paddling here in the Olympic Mountains is a great experience. Briefly about the general area: The high level of precipitation makes Cedar Creek a reasonably wet spot; the month with most of the   rain is December, and July meanwhile is the driest month. Through the summertime at Cedar Creek highs are generally in the 70's with overnight lows in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Cedar Creek descend into the 30's.
