The Sherman Creek to Cedar Creek Road stretch of Cedar Creek in Washington is 4.7 miles long and is a class II+ section     of whitewater according to American Whitewater. There are no other sections to paddle along Cedar Creek than the Sherman Creek to Cedar Creek Road section. This section is long enough to enjoy a good non stop paddle, you can easily run it on an afternoon. The beautiful Olympic Mountains scenery is an added bonus. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking around here you'll find a large number of good spots. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. Getting your paddling muscles activated and just being out on the river for a while have people coming from far and near. The campgrounds here at Cedar Creek are pretty good. Briefly about the general area: Summer brings highs in the 70's to Cedar   Creek, and the nighttime is rather cooler of course, commonly in the 50's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Cedar Creek. All the water falling down from the sky makes Cedar Creek a wet place; throughout December this area sees the most rain, and July meanwhile is the driest month.
