The Sherman Creek to Cedar Creek Road stretch of Cedar Creek is 4.7 miles long and has been rated as a class II+ section by American Whitewater. The beautiful scenery of Washington and the playfulness of the water make the trip here worthwhile. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, this is an area with plenty of rivers for that. The beautiful Olympic Mountains scenery is an added bonus. Whitewater     rafting and kayaking spots in this state tend to be more challenging than the national average, so better not forget that rivers here are less forgiving. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. The Sherman Creek to Cedar Creek Road section is the only paddling section along Cedar Creek. This section is long enough to enjoy a good non stop paddle, suitable for an afternoon trip. A bit of exercise and just hanging out with mother nature are great reasons to come.
