Washington is often more difficult than elsewhere, so keep in mind that a lot of the rivers here are not suitable for beginners. The West Fork to Pe Ell stretch is one of many paddling stretches in this river system. This section is long enough for an overnight trip if you take
your time, so go ahead and pack your camping stuff. When you're paddling down a Olympic Mountains river like this one you always get great scenery along the way too. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way this is an area with plenty of rivers for that. Getting your paddling muscles activated and spending some quality time in nature will have you coming back for more.
