This is a short paddling stretch so you'll have to walk back to the start over and over. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, there are lots of good rivers for that around here. Briefly about the general area: Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Chehalis River with nighttime lows in the 50's. All through the winter the highs are usually in the   40's while Chehalis River overnight low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 30's. Chehalis River is a relatively wet place ordinarily with a large amount of rain; during the month of December you get the most rain around here; the driest month is July.
