county,
Camp Four to Five Mile Bridge section whitewater kayaking, rafting, and paddling information.
CLASS III 13 miles
The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Washington are often tougher than in other states, so you'd better keep in mind that lots of rivers here are not for beginners. The Camp Four to Five Mile Bridge stretch of Chewuch River is 13 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class III section. There are a few other sections in this river system that can be paddled as well. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. Getting a good workout and just being out on the river for a while are sure to keep
you coming back for more. The scenic beauty of Washington and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream attract people from near and far. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way this area has a large number of
paddling places. The beauty of the Northern Cascade Range is a great plus for this river. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. This section has enough mileage for an overnight trip, so pack your camp stove.
