Whitewater rafting and kayaking in Washington is often more difficult than elsewhere, so better not forget that a large number of rivers in this state are not easy. Briefly about the general area: All the water falling down from the sky makes Chiwawa River a wet place; September is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is May. During the long summer days, highs mostly are in the 80's at Chiwawa River. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 70's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are frequently in the 80's; night lows at Chiwawa River through the wintertime mostly fall into the 70's.
