The beautiful scenery of Washington and the water flowing gracefully down Christmas Creek have people coming here. If you've been out of state whitewater rafting and kayaking you might find the rivers here more demanding, so keep in mind that many of the sections here are not safe for beginners. On this section you do get some distance, you can easily run it on an afternoon. A good workout and just hanging out with mother nature will make you glad you came. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking around here you'll find a large number of good
places. There's camping available near Christmas Creek. The C2400 bridge to Clearwater River stretch of Christmas Creek in Jefferson County is 4 miles long and is a class II+(IV) section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. The river winds through the Olympic Mountains
and you get great scenery. This is the only paddling stretch along Christmas Creek. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination.
