You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination.

at Christmas Creek dipping down into the 30's during winter nights. Rocky Rapids is a gorgeous site to go to while you're at Christmas Creek. Christmas Creek gets lots of water; through the month of December you get the most rain around here, and August is the month with the least moisture.
