The average Washington whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit harder to master than those in other states, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that the rivers in this state are less manageable. If you hurry you can run this stretch in a day but why not make it an overnighter, so go ahead and pack your sleeping bag. Getting your paddling muscles activated and just hanging out with mother nature are great attractions for lots of people. Whether you're     whitewater rafting or kayaking around here you'll find a large number of good spots. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. The beautiful Northern Cascade Range scenery is an added bonus. There are plenty of other stretches in this river system that can be paddled as well. This stretch of Cispus River is 20.2 miles long and has been rated as a class III section by American Whitewater. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. Briefly about the general area: Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Cispus River, and the overnight is quite chillier of course, generally in the 40's. Highs throughout the wintertime are mostly in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 30's for Cispus River.
