Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this area has a large number of paddling spots. This section is quite short so it's not like you're gonna spend hours on the river in one stretch. This section of Cispus River - North Fork is 2.7 miles long and has been rated as a class IV-V section by American Whitewater.     The beauty of the Northern Cascade Range is a great plus for this river. The natural beauty of Washington and the water flowing gracefully down Cispus River - North Fork are reasons enough to come here and paddle. Getting some good exercise and just hanging out with mother nature will have you coming back for more. This is not the only paddling section in this river system, there are others too. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. Briefly about the general area: Summer brings highs in the 70's to Cispus River - North Fork while nighttime lows are mostly in the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and night lows in the 20's for Cispus River - North Fork.
