This section of Cispus River - North Fork in Washington is 2.7 miles long and has been rated as a class IV-V section by American Whitewater. The nature scenery of Lewis County and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream have people coming here. The beauty of the Northern Cascade Range is a great plus for this river. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or
both, doesn't matter, this is an area with plenty of rivers for that. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in Washington are harder than the national norm, so keep in mind that lots of rivers here are not for beginners.
This is not the only paddling section in this river system, there are others too. This is a somewhat short section so it's not like you're gonna spend hours on the river in one stretch. Getting a good workout and just being out on the river for a while are great reasons to come.
