This stretch of Clearwater River - White River Tributary in Pierce County is 4 miles long and is rated by American Whitewater as a class III section. If you've been out of state whitewater rafting and kayaking you might find the rivers here more demanding, so you'd better keep in mind that a lot of the rivers here are not suitable for beginners. On this section you do get some distance, good for a one day paddling trip. The Bridge to confluence with White River section is the only paddling section along Clearwater River - White River Tributary. There
aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. The beautiful scenery of Pierce County and the cool fresh water beats anything. Getting a good workout and
spending some quality time in nature have a lot of people coming here. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking there are lots of good places for that around here. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby. Whitewater paddling here in the Northern Cascade Range is a great experience.
