  The Bridge to confluence with White River section of Clearwater River - White River Tributary in Washington is 4 miles long and is according to American Whitewater a class III section of whitewater. The nature scenery of Pierce County and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream beats anything. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, this
    area has a large number of paddling spots. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. On this section you do get some distance, you can easily run it on an afternoon. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in this state tend to be more challenging than the national
average, so better not forget that the rivers in this state are less manageable. The Bridge to confluence with White River stretch is the only paddling stretch along Clearwater River - White River Tributary. The Northern Cascade Range scenery is wonderful. A good workout and a chance to spend some time outdoors will have you coming back for more.
