The road's end to East Fork Lewis section of Copper Creek in Skamania/Clark County is 6.1 miles long and is rated by American Whitewater as a class IV-V section. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way in this general area you'll find lots of paddling rivers. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. Copper Creek doesn't have a lot of paddling stretches, the road's end to East Fork Lewis stretch is the only one. If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside Washington you might find the rivers here a bit more challenging,
so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that many of the sections here are not safe for beginners. Getting your paddling muscles activated and spending some quality time in nature have people coming from far and near. The nature scenery of Skamania/Clark County and the water
flowing gracefully down Copper Creek beats anything. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. On this section you do get some distance, you can easily run it on an afternoon. The river winds through the Northern Cascade Range and you get great scenery.

meanwhile is the driest month. Summer at Copper Creek arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 30's for Copper Creek.
