    to La Wis Wis Campground stretch of Cowlitz River - Clear Fork in Lewis County is 5 miles long and is a class V+ section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. When you're paddling down a Northern Cascade Range river like this one you always get great scenery along the
way too. This stretch has has enough mileage, it's good length for a morning trip. There are some good stretches to paddle in this river system, the Lava Creek to La Wis Wis Campground stretch is one of them. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. There's camping available near Cowlitz River - Clear Fork.
