The beautiful scenery of Washington and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water make the trip here worthwhile. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. The Goat Creek to Middle Fork Snoqualmie section of Dingford Creek is 1.3 miles long and is rated by American Whitewater as a class V+ section. The river winds through the Northern Cascade Range and you get great scenery. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Washington are often tougher
than in other states, so if you're not from around here don't forget that lots of rivers here are not for beginners. There are no other stretches to paddle along Dingford Creek than the Goat Creek to Middle Fork Snoqualmie stretch. Since you're on this site you are probably into
whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way this is an area with plenty of rivers for that. This is a very short section so you'd better be prepared to walk your kayak back to put-in a few times. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby. A good workout and a chance to spend some time outdoors are sure to keep you coming back for more.
