The Perfection Falls to West Fork Humptulips stretch of Donkey Creek in Washington is 3.8 miles long and is according to American Whitewater a class I-III+ section of whitewater. The average whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit harder to master in this state than those in other states, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that many of the sections here are not safe for beginners. Whitewater paddling here in the Olympic Mountains is a great experience. The Perfection Falls to West Fork Humptulips section is the only paddling section
along Donkey Creek. This is a bit of a short stretch so you'd better be prepared to walk your kayak back to put-in a few times. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great campgrounds nearby. Getting your paddling muscles activated and a chance to spend some time outdoors
have a lot of people coming here. If you're coming from Aberdeen it's not a long drive at all to the starting location, as you can see on the road map further down. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way in this general area you'll find lots of paddling rivers.
