The starting location is a short drive from Shelton, as you can see on the road map further down. If you've been out of state whitewater rafting and kayaking you might find the rivers here more demanding, so better not forget that a lot of the rivers here are not suitable for beginners. There's camping available near Duckabush River. There are no other sections to paddle along Duckabush River than the 2515 Bridge to Highway 101 section. This section is long enough to enjoy a good non stop paddle, it's perfect for a one day trip. The Olympic Mountains

stay the night, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car.
