The North Fork to Beaver Creek hatchery stretch of Elochoman River in Washington is 11 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class II-III+ section. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. A bit of exercise and a chance to spend some
time outdoors will make you glad you came. Whitewater paddling here in the Olympic Mountains is a great experience. This section has enough mileage for an overnight trip, so pack your camp stove. The North Fork to Beaver Creek hatchery stretch is the only paddling stretch along
Elochoman River. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking in this general area you'll find lots of paddling places.
