The average whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit harder to master in this state than those in other states, so keep in mind that many runs in this state are not easy. The starting location is a short drive from Wenatchee, please print out a copy of the road map further down the page so you won’t get lost. This stretch of Entiat River in Chelan County is 6.7 miles long and has been rated as a class III-IV(V+) section by American Whitewater. of great paddling sections, the Cottonwood Campground to FR 5605 section is just one of them. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, this is an area with plenty of rivers for that. The Northern Cascade Range scenery is wonderful. The wonderful
Washington scenery and the water flowing gracefully down Entiat River attract people from near and far. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. This section is long enough to enjoy a good non stop paddle, it's perfect for a one day trip. A bit of exercise and spending some quality time in nature are great attractions for lots of people.

the Northern Cascade Range. Snowshoe Spring is always fun to check out; hiking is a popular thing to do around Entiat River; Hunters Trail is a tremendous local trail. High temperatures at Entiat River all through the summer months are in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 40's.
Daytime highs through the winter are in the 20's while Entiat River nighttime low temperatures through the winter are in the 10's. Entiat Falls is a nice local attraction, and glorious hiking is available along the Duncan Hill Trail. At this river you will always have a good
time. From a rainfall point of view Entiat River is a relatively typical location; the month with most of the snow is December while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
