This section of Entiat River in Washington is 6.7 miles long and is a class III-IV(V+) section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. The beauty of the Northern Cascade Range is a great plus for this river. This section is long enough to enjoy a good non stop paddle, suitable for an afternoon trip. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but you'd
better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. The wonderful Chelan County scenery and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water have people coming here. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some
kayaking, either way in this general area you'll find lots of paddling spots.
