Whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state is often more difficult than elsewhere, so keep in mind that rivers here are less forgiving. This stretch of Entiat River is 6.7 miles long and has been rated as a class III-IV(V+) section by American Whitewater. There are plenty of other stretches in this river system that can be paddled as well. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. The scenic beauty of Chelan County and the playfulness of the water beats anything. The
starting location is a reasonable drive from Wenatchee, if you're not familiar with the area there's a road map further down the page. The wild scenery of the Northern Cascade Range is great. Getting some good exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors are great attractions
for lots of people. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way this area has a large number of paddling rivers. This is a pretty decent length section, it's perfect for a one day trip. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great campgrounds nearby.

even more cool things to do here in the Northern Cascade Range. Take a hike on the Duncan Hill Trail, and Entiat Falls is a charming spot to have a look at while you're at Entiat River. Have a fine hiking adventure along the Hunters Trail, and a short trip to Snowshoe Spring
is always worthwhile. This river has so much to offer. For the period of the summertime months at Entiat River highs are regularly in the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Entiat River.
