The starting location is a short drive from Wenatchee, if you're not familiar with the area there's a road map further down the page. If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside Washington you might find the rivers here a bit more challenging, so better not forget that lots of rivers here are not for beginners. The natural beauty of Chelan County and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water will make you feel great. exercise and just being out on the river for a while are great attractions for lots of people. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. The FR 5605 to Tommy Creek trailhead section of Entiat River is 2.5 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class
III-IV(V+) section. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. The wild scenery of the Northern Cascade Range is great. There are so many sections to paddle in this river system, the FR 5605 to Tommy Creek trailhead section is just one of many. This stretch is short so it's not like you're gonna spend hours on the river in one stretch.

time of the year are in the 70's. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 40's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 20's; nighttime lows all through the wintertime for Entiat River tend to be in the 10's. Yeah, come up here to the Northern Cascade Range for a splendid
time. It's always tremendous to stop by Halfway Spring, and do take a hike on the Hunters Trail. Coming to this river is always a good idea. Don't leave Entiat River without first paying a visit to Silver Falls, and Box Canyon is a splendid place to stop by. Entiat River gets a normal amount of yearly rainfall; during December this area sees the most snow; the driest month of the year is July.
