CLASS II+ 14.5 miles
The Ardenvoir to Columbia River section of Entiat River in Chelan County is 14.5 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class II+ section. The scenic beauty of Washington and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream are in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle. If you hurry you can run
this section in a day but why not make it an overnighter, so go ahead and pack your camping stuff. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking around here you'll find a large number of good rivers. There are plenty
of other stretches in this river system that can be paddled as well. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car.
