The Ardenvoir to Columbia River section of Entiat River is 14.5 miles long and is rated by American Whitewater as a class II+ section. You can enjoy this section more if you take your time, so why not pack your camping stuff too. If you've been out of state whitewater rafting and kayaking you might find the rivers here more demanding, so don't forget that the rivers in this state are less manageable. This is not the only     paddling section in this river system, there are others too. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking around here you'll find a large number of good spots. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. The wonderful Washington scenery and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream beats anything. Getting a good workout and just being out on the river for a while are sure to keep you coming back for more. Briefly about the general area: Summertime highs at Entiat River frequently tend to be in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Entiat River descend into the 10's. Entiat River   gets a normal amount of rainfall; December is the wettest month with most snow, and July meanwhile is the driest month. Entiat River is a spot with many visitors from Wenatchee, and a short journey to Byers Canyon Spring Number 1 is always worthwhile.
