When you're paddling down a Northern Cascade Range river like this one you always get great scenery along the way too. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking in this general area you'll find lots of paddling rivers. And of course, there are campgrounds     nearby. This stretch of Fly Creek in Washington is 5.5 miles long and is a class V+ section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. This is the only paddling stretch along Fly Creek. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state is often more difficult than elsewhere, so don't forget that quite a few of the sections here are not easy. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. Briefly about the general area: The warmest time of the year at Fly Creek arrives with high temperatures in the 70's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's; night lows through the winter for Fly Creek tend to be in the 30's.
