The wonderful Clark County scenery and the water flowing gracefully down Fly Creek beats anything. If you've been out of state whitewater rafting and kayaking you might find the rivers here more demanding, so keep in mind that lots of rivers here are not for beginners. A bit of exercise and just being out on the river for a while have people coming from far and near. The beauty of the Northern Cascade Range is a great plus for this river.     Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. The Little Fly Creek to Canyon Creek section is the only paddling section along Fly Creek. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, this is an area with plenty of places for that. This stretch is mid length, it's good length for a morning trip. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. Briefly about the general area: Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Fly Creek. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. Highs throughout the wintertime are mostly in the 40's, and nighttime lows during the winter for Fly Creek tend to be in the 30's.
