If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside this state you might find the rivers here a bit more challenging, so don't forget that many runs in this state are not easy. The wonderful Washington scenery and the cool fresh water make the trip here worthwhile. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. Briefly about the general area: Fly Creek gets a great deal of water; December is the wettest month with most rain; July is when it's the driest. All through the days of summer at Fly Creek highs are commonly in the 70's. Through the moonlight hours it's
usually in the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 40's; nighttime lows at Fly Creek during the winter commonly sink into the 30's.
