  The Highway 20 to Beebe Creek section of Granite Creek in Washington is 4.6 miles long and is a class IV-V(V+) section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. The scenic beauty of Washington and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream will make you feel great. Great exercise and just being out on the river for a while are great attractions for lots of people. This is one of a small number of paddling sections in this river system, there are a few others too. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great campgrounds nearby.
    The beautiful Northern Cascade Range scenery is an added bonus. This section is long enough to enjoy a good non stop paddle, suitable for an afternoon trip. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, and if you make reservations
in advance you're all set. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking there are not so many other good rivers for that around here. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state are often tougher than in other states, so you'd better keep in mind that many of the rivers here are not very forgiving.

Granite Creek gets a good deal of water; November is the wettest month with most rain, and July meanwhile is the driest month. On a glorious day at Granite Creek you can take a hike along the Mill
 
Creek Trail.
Summertime at Granite Creek arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows fall down to the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 30's, and nighttime lows through the winter for Granite Creek tend to be in the 20's.
