CLASS IV 5 miles

This section is long enough to enjoy a good non stop paddle, it's perfect for a one day trip. Whitewater paddling here in the Northern Cascade Range is a great experience.
You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. There are a few other sections in this river system that can be paddled as well. Whitewater rafting and kayaking
in Washington is often more difficult than elsewhere, so better not forget that a lot of the rivers here are not suitable for beginners. A bit of exercise and spending some quality time in nature are sure to keep you coming back for more. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground.
