CLASS IV     5 miles
  The Beebe Creek to Panther Creek stretch of Granite Creek is 5 miles long and is according to American Whitewater a class IV section of whitewater. The wonderful Washington scenery and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream have people coming here. This section is long enough to enjoy a good non stop paddle, it's perfect for a one day trip. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way around here you'll find a large number of good places. Whitewater paddling here in the Northern Cascade Range is a great experience.
    You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. There are a few other sections in this river system that can be paddled as well. Whitewater rafting and kayaking
in Washington is often more difficult than elsewhere, so better not forget that a lot of the rivers here are not suitable for beginners. A bit of exercise and spending some quality time in nature are sure to keep you coming back for more. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground.

Granite Creek is a wet site that gets much precipitation; November is the month that gets the most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Granite Creek; Jack Mountain

For the duration of the warm days of summer here at Granite Creek, high temperatures commonly get into the 70's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are usually in the 30's with temperatures at Granite Creek dipping down into the 20's during winter nights.
