mileage, good for a one day paddling trip. There are so many sections to paddle in this river system, the Green River Gorge section is just one of many. There are nice comfortable hotels here, but if you donít have reservations
you might end up sleeping in your car. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. Getting your paddling muscles activated and a chance to spend some time outdoors are great reasons to come. Briefly about the general area:
Nolte State Park is a tremendous spot to stop at; if you're visiting from Black Diamond, you won't be the only one. Just can't get enough of the Northern Cascade Range. Go for a hike on the Clearwater Trail; if you're looking for a beach nearby we recommend Alexander Beach. Coming to this river is always a good idea. Flaming Geyser State Park is a great location; there are great places to discover along the Summit Lake Trail.
