miles long and is rated by American Whitewater as a class II section. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. This is a short paddling stretch so no need to bring snacks. There are a few other stretches in this river system that can be paddled as well. The
nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. Getting a good workout and spending some quality time in nature have people coming from far and near.
Briefly about the general area: Summertime highs at Green River typically tend to be in the 70's; the night is a little chillier of course, usually in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's with temperatures at Green River dipping down into the 30's through winter nights. Diamond Springs is always fun to check
out. From a precipitation point of view Green River is a quite common location; December is the month that gets the most rain; July on the other hand is the driest.
