Green River doesn't have a lot of paddling sections, the Cascade Creek to gaging station section is the only one. If you're a camper you can camp
at one of the great campgrounds nearby. If you have the time you can make this a two day trip, so pack your sleeping bag. If you've been out of state whitewater rafting and kayaking you might find the rivers here more demanding, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that quite
a few of the sections here are not easy. The natural beauty of Washington and the water flowing gracefully down Green River will make you feel great. The beautiful Northern Cascade Range scenery is an added bonus. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick.
