  The FR 7030 Bridge to Highway 410 section of Greenwater River in Washington is 7.2 miles long and is a class II(IV) section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. The beautiful scenery of Pierce/King County and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream attract people from near and far. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby. This is a pretty decent length section, it's good length for a morning trip. The beauty of the Northern Cascade Range is a great plus for this river. Since you're on this site you are probably
    into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way there are lots of good spots for that around here. A bit of exercise and just hanging out with mother nature are great reasons to come. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night,
but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. This is one of a small number of paddling stretches in this river system, there are a few others too. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in Washington is often tougher than elsewhere, so don't forget that a lot of the rivers here are not suitable for beginners.

Good hiking is available along the Divide Trail; hiking is a popular thing to do around Greenwater River; Lester Trail is a magnificent local trail. High temperatures at Greenwater
 
River throughout the summer months are in the 70's. Summer night lows descend down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's, and overnight lows through the wintertime for Greenwater River tend to be in the 30's.
A great deal of precipitation falls at Greenwater River; November is the wettest month with most rain, and July is when it's the driest. If you love the outdoors you'll love it here in the Northern Cascade Range.
