The FR 7030 Bridge to Highway 410 section of Greenwater River in Washington is 7.2 miles long and is a class II(IV) section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. The beautiful scenery of Pierce/King County and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream attract people from near and far. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby. This is a pretty decent length section, it's good length for a morning trip. The beauty of the Northern Cascade Range is a great plus for this river. Since you're on this site you are probably
into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way there are lots of good spots for that around here. A bit of exercise and just hanging out with mother nature are great reasons to come. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night,
but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. This is one of a small number of paddling stretches in this river system, there are a few others too. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in Washington is often tougher than elsewhere, so don't forget that a lot of the rivers here are not suitable for beginners.
