This section of Hangman Creek in Washington is 7.5 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class II+ section. If you're coming from Spokane it's not a long drive at all to the starting location, as you can see on the road map further down. This stretch is mid length, it's good length for a morning trip. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way in this general area you won't find many other paddling places.     There are some good stretches to paddle in this river system, the Lower stretch is one of them. If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside Washington you might find the rivers here a bit more challenging, so better not forget that rivers here are not as easy as elsewhere.
