There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no     problem but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. The Northern Cascade Range scenery is wonderful. A bit of exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors are great reasons to come. There are no other sections to paddle along Hoffstadt Creek than the 3100 Road to North Fork Toutle section. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. The scenic beauty of Cowlitz County and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream beats anything. This is a pretty decent length section, you can easily run it on an afternoon. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this area has a large number of paddling places. Briefly about the general area: Summertime highs at Hoffstadt Creek regularly tend to be in the 70's while night lows are regularly in the 40's. The   winter brings highs down to the 40's, and nighttime lows at Hoffstadt Creek through the wintertime regularly dip into the 30's. Hoffstadt Creek is a reasonably wet place regularly with a large amount of rainfall; throughout the month of December you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is July.
