The Hoko Falls Run stretch of Hoko River in Washington is 8.3 miles long and is according to American Whitewater a class II-III(IV) section of whitewater. The sections for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Washington are often more challenging than in other states, so better not forget that a large number of rivers in this state are not easy. River doesn't have a lot of paddling sections, the Hoko Falls Run section is the only one. This is a pretty decent length section, suitable for an afternoon trip. The wild scenery of the Olympic Mountains is great. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't
matter, around here you'll find a large number of good places. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby.

All through the summertime months at Hoko River temperatures are generally in the 70's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 40's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 40's, and overnight
