This stretch of Humptulips River - East Fork is 8.4 miles long and has been rated as a class III section by American Whitewater. The nature scenery of Washington and the water flowing gracefully down Humptulips River - East Fork beats anything. The starting location is a reasonable drive from Aberdeen, please print out a copy of the road map further down the page so you won’t get lost. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. The river winds through the Olympic Mountains and you get great scenery. This is not the only paddling section
in this river system, there are others too. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this is an area with plenty of rivers for that. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. This stretch
is mid length, it's good length for a morning trip. The average Washington whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be harder to run than those in other states, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that rivers here are less forgiving.
